Hmm...so it seems that the character design for Gackpoid is finally out. After the postponing, I kinda expect the character design to be real impressive. Big disappointment when I finally saw it. For an artwork that was done by an accomplished Mangaka, it looks so unprofessional, badly drawn and unoriginal. I betacha that there are fangirls in the Gackt fandom, who can put that design to shame. I thought it was a joke when I first saw the end product. Anyway I don't think I will be getting it, considering that it is not for sale out of Japan and I don't desire it to the extend of troubling myself to go through a third party to get it. Better to save my money for the next platinum box, which I am sure is going to cost me a bomb again.

Argh! One bad news after another. And this is even worse. It seems that Junjou Romantica (my current obsession) is going to end at 12 episodes! Why?! This is the best BL anime to come out of Japan ever and they are planning to stop it at 12!? What about the other 12 episodes? I was excitedly waiting to for the strawberries-cherries-aniki part and the Sumi-attacks-ifyouknowwho scene! 

The only salvation and tiny bit of hope that I have is from a speculation that the producers are taking a break and planning to continue Junjou later in the year. Well they better be. If not, I am getting myself some of those paper dolls and hammering them onto a tree...

It's already the 21st of Dec...Gackt's album was released two days ago...The wait for my album's arrival is killing me. Hopefully it will get to my doorstep before Christmas. It is times like these that I wish I live in Japan. Then I can go out and buy it on the day that it is released. Yeah I know my local HMV shop has Gackt albums too but somehow I just prefer buying them online. Either way, whether I buy it online or at HMV, the price works out to be almost the same. And besides via online, I dun have to deal with bad customer service at HMV.

 I was just over at Aarinfantasy forum checking out who had scanned the Midare DJ that I am currently translating (and to seek permission for using it). What did I see? This note that said Liquid Passion will be doing the same DJ in the future. I really should have checked before I started on it. And I had almost completed translating it...well at least I haven't started on the editing. If not, I will really kick myself. Come to think of it, I should have asked for permission FIRST before even starting. Wonder what the hell was wrong with my brain that day. -__-  

By the way, it is a real hot DJ. Can't wait for the wonderful people over at Liquid Passion to release it. Lol.

Considering that I have piles of magazines of him, I think I will concentrate on translating articles and interviews of my darling Gackt.

On the 27th of November, Gackt (age undisclosed), held a publication commemoration interview for his photo book "Ryuu no Keshin" (Incarnation of the Dragon) in the city. Gackt, who plays Uesugi Kenshin, in the currently broadcasting NHK Taiga Drama "Furin Kazan", had his photos taken by Nomura Seiichi (56) over a four months time period. This is the first time in history, that a photo book was made of a Taiga Drama. I wish someone would post a video of Gackt performing at the Beijing concert soon. It seems like Gackt spoke to the audience in Mandarin. According to The Hokkaido Shimbun Press, Gackt said 「私たちはみんなアジア人。きっと分かり合える」 in Mandarin. It roughly translates to "We are all Asians. We can surely understand each other well." Man, I wanna hear Gacchan speak in Chinese. I am sure that his pronunciation must have improved tremendously. 

I recently saw this old clip of the Domoto Kyoudai program on Youtube, where Gackt was saying the line "How are you" in both Mandarin and Cantonese. I was actually surprised and pretty impressed that his Cantonese was quite accurate.

 I came to the realisation that it is much much much easier to translate a manga than a song. -__- I need to study harder. Bet this is full of mistakes too. But oh well, it was fun. Maybe when I have studied more, I will make corrections......a year later......

Someone over at Dears Livejournal posted a provocative comment regarding Gackt. I didn't agree with what that poster said, and thought to take the time to explain my stand.  Considering I was of the opinion that, provocative as that comment had been, the poster had really wanted some serious input and thoughts about it. Boy was I wrong. Maybe my opening sentence pissed him/her off so much that he/she seemed to have disregard whatever I had written after that and leeched onto that particular comment. (which I thought was obvious that it was just a joking opening statement to his/her post.) Or the more probable reason could be for the simple fact that I disagreed with what he/she stated.

I wouldn't have mind if his/her arguments were rational but they seemed to be more of a personal attack on my person than anything else.  The accompanying comments made to my posts ranged from rude to downright insulting.  I can ignore the first comment made, but it was the second comment that really got to me. How can a total stranger even begin to fathom what Gackt means to me? Even my closest friends and boyfriend have no clear idea about the depths and magnitude of my feelings for Gackt. To have a practical stranger having the cheek to make such a blatant comment is something that shows a definite lack of respect for me as a Gackt fan and for me as a person.

It belatedly occurred to me that this poster seem fixated on his/her definition of what a true fan can be and only wanted others to agree with him/her on his/her opinions of Gackt.  I do not agree with what his/her definition of being a true fan is nor do I agree with his/her opinions of Gackt. But neither do I think I can say that it is wrong. Based on the simple fact that it is his/her definition and opinions, and nobody should have the right to say otherwise. So for someone to disregard my definition of what being a true fan entails, and coupled with the rude comments made, really gets on my nerves.

Posting such a provocative comment on a fan community, one should expect that not all will agree with what is being said. Had I been overly rude or insulting, then maybe I probably deserved those comments. But considering that I do not think that I had in any way been rude to the poster, and had actually taken the time to sincerely reply to his/her comment. The comments he/she made towards me were totally uncalled for. And this makes me doubt the sincerity of his/her original post and wonder whether it was just an attempt to start a fight.

To say that Gackt is responsible for him/her living and then to give such blatant criticism, some of which I feel are unfounded, really befuddles me. To say that he/she reads every comment made in response to his/her original post, and then to make comments to me that hints loudly that he/she did not properly read my comments, really frustrates me.

I have not gone back to see whether any other reply had been made to my latest one. Should another insulting comment have been made. I will either stop being polite or maybe I should just ignore it. Because such disrespectful behavior doesn't deserve wasting my precious time on.

I am a big fan of Kodaka-Sensei and her Kusatta work is one of my favourite. So I thought to try a hand at translating one of her works. I am still struggling to learn Japanese, so there are bound to be errors. But enjoy it anyway. lol.

It was my beloved Gackt's birthday yesterday. And it was my first time sending him a message through his website. Wrote a whole paragraph in english and a much shorter one in Japanese. Was actually thinking of writing another paragraph in Chinese. Lol. My friend accused me of being too desperate to be noticed by Gackt. Which is true actually. But hey what did she expect, this is Gackt we are talking about here.  I will use any means neccessary (as long as it doesn't go against my personal morals and principles >__<) to get Gackt's attention. And I am pretty sure that I am not the first nor will I be the last to do so.  Now I am here hoping that Gackt will send me a reply. Though I truthfully think that the chances of that happening are slimmer than that of me striking the 10 million dollars Jackpot. -__-;;  Well, a girl can still hope can't she?

Aarinfantasy's having an ongoing poll on who is the best yaoi couple. The fight's between AsamixTakaba and SasuxNaru. My vote is definitely going to AsamixTakaba. Because I was never a SasuxNaru fan and definitely am not going to start being one anytime soon. I much prefer KakashixIruka anyway. How in the world SasuxNaru can beat IasonxRiki is beyond my comprehension. I mean come on people it is IasonxRiki! One of the best yaoi couples ever in my opinion. I cried each and every single time I watched Ai no Kusabi. To tell the truth, if it had been IasonxRiki versus AsamixTakaba in the finals, as much as I adore AsamixTakaba, my vote would be for IasonxRiki. Cos in my book, they are the better couple. I think that the only couple I would choose over IasonxRiki without hesitation would have to be SendohxRukawa fom Slam Dunk. But that is because I am a Rukawa obsessed freak and I think SenRu is the best couple hands down. ^__^

During the semi-finals, I was deciding between KatouxIwaki and AsamixTakaba. Uke-wise, I think I prefer Iwaki. Those cool, sexy, mature and yet at times naive/insecure types are my uke preferences. But, and this is a big but, as much as I prefer Iwaki to Takaba, I can't say the same for Iwaki's seme, Katou. Try as I might, I have never develop the level of fondness I have for Iwaki, for Katou. Actually, I never had much of an interest in him. Fans of Katou, please don't kill me for what I will be saying next. But, I have always thought that Iwaki could do much better than Katou. *runs and hides*

Therefore, my vote went to AsamixTakaba instead of KatouxIwaki. They make a better couple than KatouxIwaki and I like Asami tons more than Katou anyway.

And my vote for the finals will again be going to AsamixTakaba. No way in hell, I am voting for the angsty boy x overenergetic brat.

I bought Gackt's latest Subarashiki book! And it turns out that there is a special online video that is accessible with the username and password that is given in the book. I had plenty of problems getting the video to play smoothly. >__< So finally decided to find some way to save it so that I can watch it anytime I want. Well, I saved it, so I thought I would share it with those of ya, who either have problems watching it like I did or for those who did not buy the book (BUY IT! It's Worth It! ^__^). So Enjoy!
